Watch xCHA0TICWOLFx Play Fortnite on Mixer

I recently posted a webpage about my favorite Fortnite players to watch on the the online streaming platform Twitch. Well have you ever heard of Mixer? It is the other popular streaming platform that gamers live stream their games. I found an article on HubPages titled Top Community-Focused Streamers On Mixer, written by PrometheusIV that identifies some quality Fortnite players that you can watch on Mixer. Read what PrometheusIV  had to say about the Fortnite streamer xCHA0TICWOLFx below. After the link to PrometheusIV's full article his article begins on this post. Enjoy!

Full Article: https://hubpages.com/games-hobbies/Top-Community-Focused-Streamers-on-Mixer

xCHA0TICWOLFx

xCHA0TICWOLFx is definitely a gamer that you want to follow on Mixer. He supports other streamers endlessly within the community, can dominate some titles like no others, and always offers tips and insights upon how gamers can improve themselves both in-game and as a streamer. He definitely is one of the good ones within the community, and will always give you 110% if you give your best effort!

STREAMING TITLES
"The way a stream is titled is a good way to get the attention of potential viewers. It should have some relevance to the type of game, a possible challenge or even goal oriented. You can also give the title something more to hype it up for the potential viewers. The stream title can also reflect the streamer in how they play the game as well. The games i enjoy streaming are Rainbow Six Siege, a fun and tactical FPS. Battle Royale games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite. The new State of Decay 2, Call of Duty: WWII and OverWatch."
COMMUNITIES & AFFILIATIONS
"Being a part of a community is a good way to have some reliable viewers to help a streamer. Those community members coming by can also help you to interact more. Support like that can help a lot to make the streamer feel positive. Now affiliations with teams and or companies on the channel is also a good way to get your channel out there. To name a few of my affiliations, i have been a squad member of ThugLyfeGaming for a few years now and the TLG community is like a family started by Born Legit. I am also a part of The Den community and The Console Corner ran by xSHEWULFx and GKB one of the most awesome streamers. While not part of this team but i also squad up with SykoPlayz a great person and friend that i enjoy gaming along side for co-streams. Now one of the best products i have ever had the pleasure of trying is by Evil Energy, absolutely the best tasting energy supplement out there and happy to be able to promote there product so that others can experience it for themselves. As a member of a team or company, not only are you helping them with there channel, service or product, they also help your channel. These kinds of affiliations can greatly benefit you and them."
WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING ON MIXER
"When i first joined Mixer it was not as a streamer, but it was to support some good people that i have met through gaming. I had found out that Mixer has a ever growing community. Many great streamers and each with their own little communities growing every day. Everyone that i have met through this service is friendly and supportive. Furthermore it also has great tech support. When i needed any kind of help with the software itself bugging out or interruption in my streams, the tech support responded quickly. So i highly recommend Mixer to anyone who wants to stream or to find a community that you might be looking for."

The History of Video Games

As a Fortnite player I appreciate the changes that Fortnite has caused in the video game industry. As players of the most innovative video game of our generation we can appreciate how far video games as come. Have you ever wondered what was the first ever video game? Well luckily Ian Blake, a publisher of video game articles on the ezine database has found the answer. Ian's article is called History of Video Games- The First Ever Video Game Ever Made? After reading this I hope you all appreciate Fortnite even more! Below is a link to his full article and after that is what Ian wrote.

Article Source: http://ezinearticles.com/?History-of-Video-Games---The-First-Video-Game-Ever-Made?&id=1345968

As an avid retro-gamer, for quite a long time I've been particularly interested in the history of video games. To be more specific, a subject that I am very passionate about is "Which was the first video game ever made?"... So, I started an exhaustive investigation on this subject (and making this article the first one in a series of articles that will cover in detail all video gaming history).
The question was: Which was the first video game ever made?
The answer: Well, as a lot of things in life, there is no easy answer to that question. It depends on your own definition of the term "video game". For example: When you talk about "the first video game", do you mean the first video game that was commercially-made, or the first console game, or maybe the first digitally programmed game? Because of this, I made a list of 4-5 video games that in one way or another were the beginners of the video gaming industry. You will notice that the first video games were not created with the idea of getting any profit from them (back in those decades there was no Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Sega, Atari, or any other video game company around). In fact, the sole idea of a "video game" or an electronic device which was only made for "playing games and having fun" was above the imagination of over 99% of the population back in those days. But thanks to this small group of geniuses who walked the first steps into the video gaming revolution, we are able to enjoy many hours of fun and entertainment today (keeping aside the creation of millions of jobs during the past 4 or 5 decades). Without further ado, here I present the "first video game nominees":
1940s: Cathode Ray Tube Amusement Device
This is considered (with official documentation) as the first electronic game device ever made. It was created by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. and Estle Ray Mann. The game was assembled in the 1940s and submitted for an US Patent in January 1947. The patent was granted December 1948, which also makes it the first electronic game device to ever receive a patent (US Patent 2,455,992). As described in the patent, it was an analog circuit device with an array of knobs used to move a dot that appeared in the cathode ray tube display. This game was inspired by how missiles appeared in WWII radars, and the object of the game was simply controlling a "missile" in order to hit a target. In the 1940s it was extremely difficult (for not saying impossible) to show graphics in a Cathode Ray Tube display. Because of this, only the actual "missile" appeared on the display. The target and any other graphics were showed on screen overlays manually placed on the display screen. It's been said by many that Atari's famous video game "Missile Command" was created after this gaming device.

Some More Problems With Fortnite

I found a great article written by Haley(last name not disclosed) on HubPages. The full article is Five Things Fortnite Needs To Improve. I recently added a webpage to my website that was also written by Haley about 10 reasons  Fortnite is a better video game than PUBG which you should all read HERE. Below are by 3 favorite improvements Fortnite should make that Haley suggests. I particularly like here first problem about micro-transactions. It does not actually give any advantage to player when you consider ability to play. However, skins and other items that people can purchase can add an intimidation factor if some one has a rare skin on the battle field. There also may be a disadvantage to the "no skins" as players often more aggressively attack players that do not purchase items from the store.

Link to full article: https://levelskip.com/fighting/Five-things-Fortnite-Needs-to-do-Better

1. Micro-Transactions
Micro-transactions make sense in a free-to-play game, however, while Fortnite is free to download. The majority of the challenges and loot and rewards are locked behind a paywall. A single outfit costs about $12 - $20.
Granted the things that money unlocks don't affect the gameplay. Fortnite is still not pay-to-win, but it does separate those who are willing to pay to unlock basic gameplay every season.

Bottom of Form
4. Guns
Guns in Fortnite are a big problem, which is weird for a game that is built around weapons (and building).
Weapons are either overpowered or highly underpowered. The color-coding system is important, it quickly allows a player to see if one shotgun is of a higher quality than another. Quality differences between guns, makes sense, however, headshots at point blank range shouldn't do minimal damage even if a weapon is of the lowest quality.
The same mechanics that make the game easier for a new player to pick up, can become a problem as well. The aiming and shooting mechanics of Fortnite are loose. The mechanics do not give the player the ability to control shots, such as shooting mechanics in other shooters do.
5. Guns Part 2: Death by Shotgun
Another issue that Fortnite has with weapons is how overpowered shotguns are, and they continue to add more shotguns with the updates, instead of more unique weapons.
While specific weapons will be better suited for specific environments or types of contact, Fortnite really has two options: either a shotgun or a sniper rifle.
Assault rifles, pistols, handguns, crossbows, etc. are only useful if you've run out of ammo for your other weapons.

The Problem With The Quadcrasher In Fortnite Battle Royal

The Quadcrasher in Fortnite Battle Royal is the new hit vehicle. This ATV like vehicle has a turbo boost that causes the Quadcrasher to reach extremely fast speeds. The turbo allows you to climb up steep inclines and get major air time when hitting a jump or going off a mountain. Even though this is the most versatile vehicle in the game does not mean it does not has its own problems. Here are some problems I have experienced when using the Quadcrasher and playing against it.

  1. The Quadcrasher is very loud: Yes this vehicle is very loud and will alert your enemies that you are close. It is so loud that is almost sounds a little intimidating. The sound is comparable to a dirt-bike. Check out this link and hear for yourself.
  2. The Quadcrasher causes a lot of damage: I was a victim of a death by Quadcrasher the other day while playing. I see a player in the distance heading straight toward me in this vehicle. I began shooting at the opponent with little luck. When close he hits the turbo and rams into me. I get knocked back, the impact causing all my shield to fall off. It knocked me so high up that I also had fall damage. Before I could gather myself the opponent came in for a kill-shot with the Quadcrasher. I learned my lesson.
  3. The Quadcrasher does not provide the driver with much cover: The second time I was being rushed by a Quadcrasher I was prepared. This time I realize that the driver is very exposed. As the opponent was heading straight at me all I had to do was pull out by sniper fire. I easily knocked the opponent off the Quadcrasher.
Here is our favorite player Ninja doing amazing things on the Quadcrasher!

Comparing the Snipers in Fortnite Battle Royal

The sniper rifles in Fortnite Battle Royal are always a fan favorite. They are one of the most satisfying weapons to get an elimination with due to the level of difficultly. Unlike, Call of Duty where the bullet in snipers gets to the enemy immediately in Fortnight you have to time your shots differently by having to take into account distance and if the target is moving. The bullets will drop down when shooting long distances so there is a need to shot higher and the bullets shoot slower then call of duty so you have to shoot in front of the target. Now I will break down the sniper’s statistics. (links are videos to watch each sniper in action)

  • ·         Bolt-action sniper: The best tier(gold) has body damage of 116 and head-shot damage of 290. Its reload time is 2.7 seconds.
  • ·         Heavy Sniper: The best tier(gold) of this weapon has body damage of 157 and head-shot damage of 392.5. It reloads in 4.1 seconds.
  • ·         Hunting Rifle: The best tier(blue) has body damage of 90 and head-shot damage of 225. Its’s reload time is 1.8 seconds. This gun is unique because to does not have a scope, you just room in slightly.
  • ·         Semi-auto Sniper: The best tier(blue) has body damage of 75 and 187 head-shot damage. Its reload time of 2.5 seconds. However, with this gun you do not need to reload after every shot. You can send off 10 shots before reloading

When determining which one is the best it is all personal preference. They all have their unique advantages and disadvantages. For example, the advantage of the Heavy Sniper is its high damage, but its disadvantage is the long reload time. The hunting rifle lacks a scope but has an excellent head-shot damage. The semi-auto sniper is the weakest weapon, but you can shoot it the fastest. Finally, the bolt-action sniper. This weapon has the least distance between advantages and disadvantages. Its not as strong as the heavy sniper yet second most powerful and it has a reasonable reload time. This is why the Bolt Action is my favorite.

Ninja Streams Fortnite For Suicide Prevention

Here is a very heartwarming story on how the most famous Fortnite Battle Royal player in the world, Ninja, raised over $100,000 in just 8 hours for suicide prevention. How and why did he do it? Ninja was devastated when a close friend of his committed suicide unexpectedly. Ninja felt he needed to do something to not only honor his friend but to prevent others from choosing the same path. On February 6th 2018, Ninja did just that. He used his popularity as a streamer to raise money for suicide prevention. On his Twitch stream he teamed up with Tiltify, a company who specializes in fundraising through streaming platforms to set up a stream where all of the proceeds of viewers subscribing and donating to Ninja's channel went directly to the charity American Foundation For Suicide Prevention. Ninja's original goal was to raise $25,000 for the cause. However, in just a few hours Ninja blew past that mark. When the 8 hours was over Ninja hit over $100,000. Ninja was very emotional for his event and even shocked himself at all the support he received by his fan. Here is some footage the charity event via Ninja's stream.

This story is so inspirational because it shows someone who just plays video games being able to make a significant impact on the the world. Just a few years ago nobody had the followers to raise this much money via a stream. I encourage more video game players to follow in Ninjas footsteps and take a day to raise money for a better cause. The amount of video game players in Fortnite and other video games making a lot of money via streaming has sky-rocketed, and is now another community of people able to make this world a better place for everybody.

Will Fortnite Continue To Grow?

Many gaming experts predicted Fortnite would be a short lived fad and that the Fortnite frenzy would phase out pretty quickly. The game came out on July 25, 2017 and has crushed all growth expectations. By the end of Fortnite's 1st month of being on the market they gained approximately 1 million users. By January 2018 there were 45 million users and then by the end June 2018 nearly 1 year into existence Fortnite users hit approximately 125 million users with that number still rising today(Source). This growth rate is unlike any other game we have seen before. To put this in perspective PubG a game that is the second most popular battle royal game on the market had 3.2 concurrent players. This was the record for most daily users of a game of all time. Fortnite broke that record in February of 2018 with 3.4 million daily users and was on the market for 3 months less(Source)!

Now that you know the record breaking growth of Fortnite I'm sure many of you are wondering if it still will phase out like many critiques think, or is it here to stay for the long run. Here is why I predict that Fortnite Battle Royal is here to stay.

  • There is no risk to try Fortnite Battle Royal. By no risk I mean the game is completely free! If you are unsure whether or not you will like the game you are at no risk of wasting your money. Anyone can download the game and try it out.
  • Fortnite releases new things about the game every week. Every week Fortnite releases new updates about the game, there range from adjustments on the map, new weapons, in-game challenges, items to buy in the shop, and game modes. This keeps a player continuing to log on to see what is new. This aspect has been a big influence of me continuing to play regularly. Check out this weeks update HERE!
  • Fortnite in game purchases keep Epic Games pockets fat and provides them with the resources to continue to further develop the game. In game purchases are what provides Epic Games to have the resources to continually update the game and add more value to its users. Back in July of 2018 Fortnite was generating over 3 million dollars a day in in game purchases(Source).

The Reason Bounce Traps Were Removed From Fortnite Battle Royal

Bounce traps were a very fun part of Season 5. They provided players with unique ways to beat their opponents and travel around the battle field. Many people including me are wondering why Epic Games removed them in Season 6. Luckily I was able to find that information! Matthew Bennett a writer for the gaming website EGM got the scoop directly from the source. Check out his article HERE.

I truly believe Matthew did a great job writing his post. It is too the point and factually accurate. He clearly sites his sources and explains the explanation in a easy to understand way. Below I will summarize his article in a few bullet points. Here are a few more reasons to click this link and check our the EGM website:

  • There is a ton of Fortnite blog posts. This website loves to write about Fortnite Battle Royal.
  • This website is leader in the video game website industry because of the amount of traffic.
  • They post high quality information on nearly every video game out there.
So what happened to the bounce traps?
  • Epic game vaulted bounce traps due to the amount of mobility items out in the game now. They plan on releasing new mobility items in the future and already did this past week with the chiller traps. These traps make you glide across the map link ice skates. Check out the new item HERE. Even though I miss having bounce traps I agree with Epic Games decision to vault the bounce traps and test out new ways to allow players to move around.
Watch this bounce trap greatness! These players built a bounce trap house.
