- Pick up a legendary tier item in 3 different matches: This challenge is one of the easier challenges to complete for week one. The legendary items are any item that you can keep in your Layout Inventory that is gold in color. The minimum amount of games it will take you to complete this challenge is 3, however, legendary items are not easy to come by. A trick I used to complete this challenge quicker is to just pick up a legendary item just for a quick second even if I did not need it, just to earn credit for that match. You can always just drop it right after! Here is a complete list of all weapons and their tier.
- Regain health from a Cozy Campfire: This challenge sounds easy but in reality it is difficult to remember that you even have a Cozy Campfire in your Material Inventory. As I did this challenge a made a point of emphasis to try to use a cozy every time I picked one up. If I knew I was not around people I would build stairs about 4-5 levels up and then jump down. This will decrease your health but not enough to kill you. Use a Cozy Campfire to health up and get back out there! Here is a video of someone doing exactly what I just described.
- Stage 1, 2, 3: Search 3 chests, Search 2 Supply Chests, Search 1 Supply Llama : For this challenge you must complete each stage before starting the next one. Stage 1 is the easiest challenge in week 1 of season 6! Just go somewhere less populated (off the course of the battle bus) and you will easily open more then 3 chests in one game. Stage 2 requires you to open 2 supply chests. This is more difficult because Supply Chest's are very rare. Play the Soaring 50's game mode to complete stage 2 because this game mode drops more Supply Chests then an average game. Another way is to try to stay in the game as long as possible. As the game progresses Supply Chests drop at a higher rate. Finally, for stage 3 it is pure luck. In any game mode of Fortnite only 3 Supply Llamas are spawned randomly. So keep an eye out and try to get lucky. If you have never seen a Supply Llama check out the image below!
- Apply shields (500 shield points): This challenge is very simple. Just pick up shields and use them up! I can almost guarantee this challenge will take you at least a few rounds to complete because the make amount of shield points you can consume at one time is 100 shield points. You will need to take damage to apply more in a single game.
- Stage 1,2,3,4,5: Land at Junk Junction, land at Tilted Towers, land at Fatal Fields, land at Greasy Grove, land at Flush Factory: For this challenge you must land at all 5 of these different locations named above, in different games. After you land at each place you will unlock the next stage for the next game. Simply land at the red circle to complete the first stage of this challenge. This picture also has the other 4 locations shown on this map.
- Dance under different streetlights: This challenge was by far the most difficult one for me to complete from season 1. You may be questioning why because nearly every location has multiple streetlights. For this challenge the only streetlights are the ones that have speakers at the top of them. There is a total of 8 on the map and for the challenge you have to visit 7. This challenge becomes more difficult as time goes on because you will begin to forget which places you danced at. So whats my recommendation? Do this challenge first and get it out of the way. Click here to find out exactly where all the music playing streetlights are located.
- Eliminate opponents in 5 different names locations: This challenge takes the most skill out of any of the challenges because of the fact that you need to get 5 total eliminations at 5 different places. This is difficult because many players have a few favorite locations where they chose to land. Going to locations where they are less comfortable in make this more challenging. You may be thinking "But Fortnite Al, there are way more then 5 named locations on the map". I agree with you but that really has no effect on the easiness of this challenge. The named locations on the outskirts of the map are much less populated landing spots. The more populated named locations tend to have a higher skill of players that land. You should try to game-plan which locations you are best at and go there first. Do not go to the next location until you get the first elimination. This will help you keep track of where you have been. Finally, land at Tilted Towers. Even though this is the most populated place on the map, it is also home to the most chaos. Be patient and try to "steal" an elimination from an opponent that has low health.
I hope this serves as an excellent resource for any player who is struggling to complete the challenges. I broke these challenges down based on my own experiences and research. I recommend having this web page open next to you as a reference as you begin completing the challenges.
